Riverton Residents Invited to Open House for Downtown Riverton Concept Plans
Riverton, UT – All Riverton City residents are invited to an open house on Thursday, May 11th from 6-8 pm at the Old Dome Meeting Hall to review concept plans on the potential future development along 12600 South in Riverton’s “old downtown” corridor. Come and provide feedback to Councilman Trent Staggs and Psomas engineering. Councilman Brent Johnson will also be will be in attendance. This effort has been driven, in large part, by Councilman Staggs at the urging of many residents.
“I heard from several of you 3 years ago as I campaigned that wanted more restaurant options closer to home, and am looking forward to hearing from you at this open house,” says Staggs.
The revitalization of “old downtown” Riverton will bring more restaurants and stores as well as additional office space and even a bank. Riverton residents will have more choices to eat and shop in the city and Riverton will once again have a vibrant downtown.
“I want everyone in Riverton to be proud of our downtown corridor, it should be a central feature of our city,” says Staggs.
